When You Use WANPU's Existing CE Certification

For standard ODM orders where the product hardware is unchanged (branding and packaging only), you can sell under WANPU's existing CE test reports and notified body certification. You will need to issue a Declaration of Conformity in your name as the EU importer, referencing WANPU's test reports. We provide a template and the supporting documentation. This is the fastest and lowest-cost option.

When You Need Your Own Certification

If you want the CE mark to reference your brand name as the manufacturer (rather than WANPU), or if you are making hardware modifications, you will need to commission new CE testing with an accredited notified body. WANPU can facilitate this through our existing lab partnerships — testing typically takes 4–6 weeks and costs €3,000–€8,000 depending on the scope of testing required.

For custom jump starter branding orders targeting the US market, similar considerations apply to FCC certification. If the hardware is unchanged, the existing FCC ID can be transferred under a new grantee code. Hardware changes require new FCC testing.
